Want to play a game? Just sit back and count how many times Steven Tyler says the word "beautiful" any given night on American Idol. I like Steven Tyler and I feel like he is an asset to the show, but the man needs to come up with a new saying. Last night, I counted at least fifteen times he said "that was beautiful". I think they should change the name of the show to "America The Beautiful".

Recipe Of The Day

20 Minute Cheesy Chicken & Asparagus Rice Dinner

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 Tbs oil

4 lb small boneless skinless chicken breast halves

1/8 tsp pepper

1-1/2 cups water or milk

1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

2 cups MINUTE White Rice, uncooked

2 cups cut-up fresh asparagus

1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/4 cup Sliced Almonds, toasted

Directions:

HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; season with pepper. Cover; cook 4 min. on each side or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.

ADD water and soup to skillet; stir until well blended. Bring to boil.

STIR in rice and asparagus; top with chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds; cover. Reduce heat to low; cook 5 min.

Does Chris Brown need anger management? It sounds like he does, after the latest act he pulled on Good Morning America earlier this week. When Robin Roberts asked Brown about his assault case against former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, he went on a rampage. Brown starting screaming and yelling backstage after the interview, and tore apart his dressing room. He even broke a window in the dressing room. Brown has since apologized for his actions.

I Guess That's Why They Call It "March Madness"

How does your bracket look after the first day of the NCAA tournament? Mine is in the trashcan. Ever heard of Morehead State? That game really didn't hurt me, because I had Louisville losing in the next round versus Richmond. The game that really hurt me was the Michigan State game against UCLA. Like an idiot, I had Michigan State in the Elite 8. Michigan State is usually a great tournmant team, but they came out flat last night. I also had Bucknell upsetting UCONN, Belmont upsetting Wisconsin, ODU upsetting Butler and Missouri upsetting Cincinnati. What was I thinking? I guess that's why they call it "March Madness". Oh well, there's always next year. Go Spiders!!!

Breaking News: Carmelo Anthony Traded To The New York Knicks In A Three Team Deal

The New York Knicks will send Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, and a 2014 1st Round Draft Pick, additional picks and cash for Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.  The Knicks will also send Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry to Minnesota for Corey Brewer.  The deal was completed late last night.  The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday.

This just in, the New York Knicks are now throwing in their entire team, with the exception of Amar'e Stoudemire.  To sweeten the pot, they're also including the New York Liberty WNBA team, Isaiah Thomas, John Starks, Herb Williams, Chris Dudley, Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan, John Rocker, Spike Lee, and P. Diddy to the Denver Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups.  This is a deal the Nuggets can't pass up!  I personally think that Melo for Rocker alone is a steal for Denver.

Why Is Reggie Miller Not One Of The Finalists For The Basketball Hall Of Fame?

When I saw the names of the finalists for the Basketball Hall of Fame, I could not believe that Reggie Miller's name was not on the list.  He was probably one of the best, if not the best shooter of all time.  His best moment as player was probably when he looked over at Spike Lee and gave him the "choke sign", after he scored 8 points in the final 9 seconds in a playoff game against Spike's beloved N.Y. Knicks.  Or maybe when he did one of his famous bows in front of a visiting crowd after hitting a big shot.  Nevertheless, his was absent from list of finalists for Hall of Fame this year, in his first year of eligilibity.  Finalists included Dennis Rodman, Maurice Cheeks and Ralph Sampson.  Just because Dennis Rodman dated Madonna and married Carmen Electra, while wearing a wedding dress, doesn't make him a HOF.  Ralph Sampson had a lengendary collegiate career, but he was hurt during most of his NBA career.  They need to separate Collegiate Basketball and NBA Basketball, and have a HOF for each.  If not, then next year we'll probably see Christian Laettner's name on the ballot and possibly even Muggsy Bogues.

Jeopardy Tonight Is Must See T.V.

I know that Jeopardy is mostly for old people, but tonight's show is a must see.  I hope you had a more exciting Valentine's Day than me, but I was flipping through the channels last night and I happened to stop on Jeopardy.  Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter competed against "Watson", which is a computer designed by IBM.  These guys were two of the most successful contestants ever on Jeopardy.  They couldn't do anything against Watson.  Watson knows everything, from old Beatles' Songs, Olympics, etc.  It even talks, which is kind of creepy.  If you want to see what the future is going to be like, then check it out tonight at 7:30 EST.

Was The Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl Halftime Show The Best Ever?

I've been watching the Super Bowl now for about 20 years, and last Sunday night's Halftime Show by The Black Eyed Peas was in my opinion by far the best.  I remember seeing boring performances by Paul McCartney and many other old timers, and I'm so happy that they decided to get a current group once again.  The light show was out of this world.  What did you think?
